Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran, born in a middle class agricultural family, had his formative days in a small village, where importance for Education, Health Care & Infrastructure was minimal or negligent. His Parents - Late Shri Shanmugha Velayudha Gounder & Shrimathi S.Balammal - were different from their peers as they new the value of Education.
Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran grew up Inculcated and Doctrined on Religion, Values, and the importance of Education in his early years. He braved many a challenges as lack of Infrastructure, Facilities, and Opportunities for Basic Education was very poor.
Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran was a very hard working and brilliant student who almost always topped his class in academics.
Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran Graduated in Medicine from the Coimbatore Medical College, in flying colors, and his MS in Surgery from Manipal - an Institution which has given Great Doctors to our Country.
After which has a Government Doctor he served the People and the Nation.
While Enterprising Entrepreneurs, flocked to Tirupur, to hitch onto the Hosiery Wagon, Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran dared to be different and dream different.
As a Young Surgeon, Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran, with Dreams in his Eyes, set up practice in Tirupur to serve and to bring International Health Care to the door steps of the people.
Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran visualized a Tirupur - as a mega district - with International Infrastructure, World Class Medicare and Educational Institutions.
His Student Days ignited his Dream & Vision. He did not want his Next Generation to suffer what he had to. People had to go all the way to Chennai or Coimbatore for World Class Medicare and Education.
Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran’s first step and contribution in that direction was the Sri Kumaran Hospital- 150 Bed Multi Super Specialty Hospital inaugurated in 2003, which brings State of the Art Current Generation Healthcare to the door steps of the People in this District.
Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran after having created a niche in the Medical Field diverted his energy into creating World Class Education. Sri Kumaran School is the first step where Children can translate their Dreams into Reality. Sri Kumarn School brings Sophisticated State of the Art Technical & Humanities Education simultaneously inculcating Indian Culture and the importance of Moral Science. What follows, shortly, will be the branching out into the Other Fields of Education. His dream is to set up a Deemed University where the Poor can get World Class Education.
Through Sri Kumaran Educational & Charitable Trust (where Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran is the Managing Trustee) He has been extending Free Medical Camps, Free Treatment, Sponsor Free Surgery, for the Poorest of the Poor among deserving Patients. Sponsorships, Educational Subsidies, International Exchange Programs are all in the Cards for the Deserving Student. Windmill Power Projects, Environment Awareness are few of the proposed forth coming Projects. Socially, a very Conscious Citizen, Dr.S.Sendil Kumaran is an Active Rotarian.

1989 MS (General Surgery) from Kasturba Gandhi Medical College Mangalore.
1992 Set up Kumaran Nursing Home – a 25 Bed Medical Center
2003 Established Sri Kumaran Hospital (a unit of Shri Kumaran Medical Centre P Ltd. – a 200 Bed Current Generation Medical Center. The First Hi Tech Multi Super Specialty Hospital in Tirupur.
2007 Incorporated Sri Kumaran Educational & Charitable Trust – To Establish Primary & Higher Secondary School To Establish College – Arts & Science, Technology & Para Medical
